Here is an excerpt:
With the proliferation of smartphones and tablets, it seems that the designation “photographer” gets brandished about rather carelessly these days. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of the fact that more and more of us are capturing the world around us in images. What I keep reminding myself of though, is that there is a big difference between taking shots of the things we encounter in our daily lives and the artistry that it takes to be a true photographer. To me, a photographer is a visual artist who embodies the ability to capture art on film, someone who can entice the viewer to see life from a different perspective. A great photographer can make you stop in your tracks, pulling you into this silent medium, captivating the soul. Chew on that spoonful of deepness! With that said, let me introduce you to the incredible art of photographer Alexander Trejo.
